The Legion

I've been a huge Legion of Super-Heroes fan since I was 12 years old, and I've been delighted to be able to draw these portraits of the various members. I also write & draw a parody/tribute comic strip about the Legion called Work That Flight Ring, (which you may have already seen). Some of that artwork is also available for sale.

The artwork on display here is, for the most part, done on 8.5" x 11" bristol board paper, (a good size for framing!).  Some are pencilled, and some are fully-inked. You may also see some full-color pieces here; because I do all of my coloring in Photoshop, that means the original artwork is still in black & white. When you buy a color piece from me, you get that black & white original art, plus a high-quality, one-of-a-kind, fully-colored (digitally) print to go with it, (printed on card stock).  

You will also see here some pieces are done on the actual Legion #1 comic book covers. (From when DC relaunched the Legion with issue #1 in November, 2019). DC Comics periodically releases issues with those blank, artist-board covers for people to have commissioned art drawn onto them. I still have several blank Legion #1 issues if you are interested in having one of those done.
